Dirty Three Announces New Album ‘Love Changes Everything’ and Australian Tour

Dirty Three, the instrumental trio comprised of Warren Ellis of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds on viola, Mick Turner on guitar, and Jim White on drums, have announced their new album ‘Love Changes Everything’. This will be their first album release since 2012’s ‘Toward the Low Sun’. The album is set to be released on June 28 via Bella Union and is available for pre-order.

The new record features six tracks, all titled ‘Love Changes Everything’ followed by a roman numeral. The lead single, ‘Love Changes Everything I’, has already been released and is available for listening. The band has also announced an Australian tour scheduled for June, with tickets already on sale for the Melbourne show. Canberra tickets will go on sale on April 12, while the remaining tickets will go live on April 4.

– June 19: Thirroul, Anitas Theatre
– June 20: Sydney, Enmore Theatre

Warren Ellis and Nick Cave recently released the live album ‘Australian Carnage’, a live performance of their 2021 collaborative album ‘Carnage’, which received critical acclaim. Ellis and Cave are also known for their work on film scores, including the upcoming Amy Winehouse biopic ‘Back to Black’.

In addition to their side project, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are gearing up to release their new album ‘Wild God’ on August 30. The band has announced a UK and European tour beginning in September, with support from Dry Cleaning, The Murder Capital, and Black Country, New Road.
